Who is Azizag-Lockdiva?

      

     I am Azizag       

the beginning and the end,

the end and the beginning,

with I in the middle.

 

I am Capricorn

my past becomes my future,

and my future becomes my past,

and my third eye is in the middle.

 

I am the equanox

equal parts of

day and night,

sun and rain,

rage and calm,

joy and pain.

 

I am eclectic

African slave, Europian master

Native American off the black river,

and third generation free.

Poet, griot, soothsayer

spewer of ebonic soliloquies of love,

and epiphanies of truth suppressed

by four hundred years of oppression.

Gatekeeper of the history

of our illustrious ancestry,

my voice is the echo

of a thousand years ago.

When we were

Kings and Queens,

while some still lived in caves.

I am earth, women child, and womb,

bearer of life,

and tomb

of the unknown warrior.

I am Africa, rich and fertile,
